DIVINE DETERGENT NEEDED

 

"Though you wash yourself with lye and use much soap,

the stain of your guilt is still before me,

saith the Lord God." (Jer. 2:22)

HOWEVER: "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just

to forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all iniquity." (1 John1:9)

 

Are you soft-soaping God?

"Duz" you just "Dreft" along the "Tide"?

"Vel", now is the time for "All" to "Cheer" up.

If you want real "Joy" the "Trend" is to "Breeze"

to church regularly on Sunday mornings.

But to many people "Woodbury" their heads in pillows

or work in their yards like "Handy Andy"

forgetting that the Lord's Day as made for "Lestoil."

Where our Lord reigns, the "Dove" of peace

will never need to send out an "S.O.S."

Don't trust "Lux," good or bad. Shall we "Dial" you

and remind you of those "Ivory" palaces up yonder?"

"This is not just idle "Bab-O"!

Worship will "Ad" to your "Life-bouy"! So, why not be faithful

and "Whisk" yourselves out of bed Sunday mornings,

dress up "Spic & Span" and "Dash" like a "Comet"

to God's house of prayer!

Singing "Praise" to God will bring a "Cleanser" to your soul.

"Pledge" yourself,

and "Pride" of a clear conscience  will be yours.

Your life will then become full of real "Zest."
