Some of you have been asking me to tell you a little about myself so I am happy
to share with you what is in my heart. Thank you for all the visits to my guest
book.

The most important things in life to me are God,
family, friends. and of course music.
I also love children so believe it or not I drive a school bus. I started
out working with children in children's church and one of my best friends
was a trainer for a school district and thought I would be great at
it...That's been a while now. I was actually amazed that they paid me to do
what I loved doing. I like to make a difference in their lives and want them
to know that no matter what is going on at home or around them, that there
are people out here that truly love and care about them. I have learned that
sometimes we are the first smile that they see in the morning and maybe the
first kind word they hear comes from the bus driver. Many times Mom is so
busy hustling them out the door that it is stress from the time they wake up
until they step on the bus, so I like to make sure my kids know that they
are part of my family in my heart and that I am there for them if they need
a friend.
We live in Denver Colorado, moving from Kansas a in 2000, after my husband
was transferred here. It is a beautiful place to live, but I miss my oldest
son, our daughter, and grandchildren and for sure my Mom back home. She's my
number one fan, so it's hard to be away from her. My youngest son lives here
in Colorado with us and has now graduated form high school.
The hardest
thing I ever had to do in life was to pack up and leave my comfortable
suburban country home, family, and my wonderful friends and church family.
Needless to say I make lots of trips back to Kansas.
One of my favorite things to do in Denver is ride up in the mountains with
my husband on our motorcycles. It always amazes me at the beauty of Gods
creation. The mountains are so peaceful and serene. We enjoy many hours of
closeness in awe of His masterpiece.
I also love and enjoy putting together music. I do it not because I think I
am a wonderful musician, but because it is my way of worshiping God and
pouring out my spirit to Him.
I started playing around with the guitar when I was in Jr. High School and
learned a few cords. But after my husband and I got married, I would sit and
listen to him sing and play the guitar in the evening after he got home from
work. We got married at 17 so we didn't have a lot of money to go out. I
would watch him play and then when he was at work I would pick up the guitar
and try to play. It didn't take me long to pick up on it.
The piano came years later when we needed an organ player at our church. I
had a little Casio keyboard that I took to church for a special music night
and played a song that I had written. After that the pastors wife decided
that if I could play that keyboard then I could play the organ. Well it just
progressed from there. I told God that if he would give me the talent to
play the piano that I would use it for His glory. Little did that preachers
wife know that the most I could play on that little keyboard was a mean
boogie. I soon learned that....When Jesus changed my heart, he changed my
song.
