where I go, Every way I turn,
I hear your music playin', I feel my
spirit yearn.
I try to break the thoughts of you',
from coming' back again,
But you my friend have taken, that
power from within.
I feel you sitting near me, though
far away you are,
The music overtakes me, And memories
come flooding in.
I hear your
laughter oh' so clear, as I try to block it out, For if I let you near my heart
again, Who knows how long you'll stay.
We're friends now for the
moment, the music floods my soul,
I wish that we could stay this way,
and never ever part.
Though hundreds of miles separate us
now, the music still remains,
Forever in my mind and heart, the way it's always been.
So I ask of you a favor friend,
Please don't shut me out,
For the music overtakes my soul, your footprint's on my heart.
